Walnut wood has been the timber of choice for many different types of projects of woodworkers. The dark dull brown pairs nicely with any modern look. The Cherokee Indians would produce a black dye from walnut bark, which they, in turn, used to dye cloth. As early as the 2nd century AD, shells and kernels of the edible walnut were used to make a dye solution in the Levant.

The unique contrast of the light honey grain and the sudden darker highlights associated with this wood makes the translucent Ocean Blue dye mixed in with the epoxy pop. Sanded and hand crafted to a smooth finish, these coasters will brighten up any room.

As with all hand-crafted pieces, the wood grains and color swirls of each coaster set will have its own unique spin, as no two sets will ever be identical! You are receiving a truly one-off set.
