12" x 12" High Quality Box Elder & Epoxy Clock
Box Elder is a species of maple that is native to North America. It is a fast-growing, short-lived tree with opposite, compound leaves. Box Elder had many uses throughout history particularly with the Native American tribes, which used it for anywhere from medicinal purposes to bowls, dishes, drums, and pipe stems from trunk burls and knots. Some even used smaller pieces for pipe stems to smoke from and charcoal for painting purposes. The random red spots in Box Elder result from tree injury in that it "bleeds" into the grains and give it its unique and distinct look!
This beautiful handmade clock was named after its color combination which was part of the shift series from Black Diamond Pigments. Made from unique box elder and paired with eco-friendly epoxy, this soft, semi-translucent color brings peace and serenity to the room. A perfect piece for those low-key hosting events among friends.
As with all hand-crafted pieces, the wood grains and color swirls of each clock will have its own unique spin, as no two clocks will ever be identical! You are receiving a truly one-off piece.
These clocks are a perfect gift for any Holiday, Birthday, Wedding, Engagement, Housewarming or a treat for your very own home!
