Red Heart, sometimes called Chakte Kok, is a unique Central / South American hardwood characterized by a reddish base color — ranging from dull to bright pink, pinkish-red or red — with streaks and highlights diverse in color, from darker red tones to occasional purples. Grains range from irregular to wild and can often be multi-dimensional or overlapping — often to very dramatic effect, especially when vibrant secondary colors are present. Its texture is fine and smooth with a hardness of 1210 on the Janka Scale which makes this an ideal wood to cut on!

As with all hand-crafted pieces, the wood grains of each crafted board will have its own unique spin, as no two boards will ever be identical! You are receiving a truly one-off piece.
